Cleaning Abram Creek 2004 - 2006

Debris collected from the creek May 24th and 25th tally is as followings: Total Net Weight = 220 pounds
Carbon Steel = 100 pounds, consisted of: re-bar, metal cable, sign, pipe stand, angle iron, pipe and miscellaneous
Balance of various other items = 120 pounds consisted of: paper, silt fencing w/string and rope, plastic signs, bottles, and cups, glass bottles, black composite pipe, rubber insulated copper wire, fiberboard roofing material, fiberglass cups and aluminum cans and channel.

2005
Creek Cleaning Team

The Creek Cleaning Team (Bill Howser, Dan Papcke, Aaron Walker, and Steve Hershman) completed a tour of the creek and amassed a good bit of debris for pick-up, segregation, and weighing.

The weather was perfect and the creek was at a very low level making the team's job easy. Items collected plastic bottles, glass bottles, plastic, food wrappers, carbon steel pipe and plate, PVC pipe, an appliance panel, sewer plate.

The team segregated and weighted the debris and disposited of them in appropriate trash containers.

Summary: Ferrous metals = 210 #'s, Misc. trash and construction debris = 60 #'s and aluminum and plastic = 5 #'s. Total = 275 #'s.
