National Earth Day April 22
Over the past 15 years the GRC Earth Day Committee has sponsored or has engaged in a variety of activities. Each year has been a little different. The activities have been organized to help educate and enhance the awareness of Glenn employees and the general public regarding NASA environmental programs, issues, and concerns.

2008 EARTHFest Cleveland Metro Park Zoo
May 3, 12 - 4 pm, Community Earth Day Celebration, Lakewood Park

On-site Earth Week Activities are limited to GRC civil servants and contractors.

Erika M. Weliczko, President, REpower SOLUTIONS
Ms. Weliczko formed REpower SOLUTIONS several years ago to deliver renewable energy to Northeast Ohio.
REpower SOLUTIONS offers renewable energy design and installation for solar and wind electric systems. 

April 10, Speaker - B3 Auditorium 12-1:30 pm
James LaRue, Ohio's own green building expert.
Mr. LaRue is the building science consultant for Environmental Health Watch's healthy green affordable housing programs. Jim, a pioneer in the field, has been an innovator, educator, advocate, builder, consultant and writer on affordable housing, green housing and healthy housing in the Cleveland area and nationally for more than thirty years.
